The professional career of David Frasher revolves around public service, starting as a police officer, lawyer, then finally transitioning as a city manager. For his personal interests, David Frasher follows popular American chefs Anthony Bourdain and Mario Batali to nurture his creative interests.

Born in 1956 in the city of New York, Anthony Bourdain’s early interests were literature and rock music—a product of his parents’ influence. Despite a rebellious childhood, Bourdain managed to find his passion by working at local seafood restaurants while he was in college. After two years, he decided to take up culinary arts at the Culinary Institute of America. He spent years climbing the kitchen ranks, until he became Executive Chef at Brasserie Les Halles.

The well-known chef and overall food celebrity Mario Batali developed his passion for culinary arts during childhood. He was introduced to traditional Italian cooking during visits at his grandmother’s house, which influenced him to enroll at London’s Le Cordon Bleu. Although he was unable complete his studies, he trained under famed chef Marco Pierre White. Batali is best known for being one of the original Iron Chefs.

While serving as a municipal administrator for more than 15 years, David Frasher leverages his experience in the public service sector to serve as the City Manager of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Also a music fan, David Frasher especially enjoys the music of the legendary Johnny Cash.

CMT and Thinkfactory Media teamed up to produce a scripted TV show featuring the 1956 jam session of Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. It is set to be released as an eight-episode drama series with a working title of “Million Dollar Quartet.”

Viacom Network held casting calls and callbacks last February 13 and 14 at the Humes Preparatory Academy Middle School. The network decided to cast Kevin Fonteyne as a 24-year old Cash, Drake Milligan as a 21-year old Presley, and Christian Lees as a 21-year old Lewis.

The Million Dollar Quartet is an adaptation of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical. It is a remake of the monumental congregation of these musical geniuses at the Sam Phillips’ Sun Records amidst the Civil Rights Movement in 1956. The scripted drama is set to debut in November, coinciding with the 60th anniversary of the recordings.
